I have always been someone who tries my best with the information I have at the time, and after many years of thinking I had healthy eating all figured out, I realized I didn't when I started suffering digestive and hormonal issues of my own. After discovering the Nutritional Therapy Association, I quickly enrolled in the NTP program, and now I am learning how to address my own health issues with a more holistic approach. Through my studies, I have learned there is truly no “one size fits all” approach to achieving optimal wellness, however, I am a firm believer that everyone can benefit from eating a nutrient-dense whole foods diet without restriction. As I am on my own health journey, I learn something new about myself each day and have developed an entirely new mindset around food and the way it plays such a huge role in shifting the way our body functions. Now, I am passionate about helping you address your health issues, big or small, by getting back to the basics and finding a plan that is sustainable for your lifestyle.
Along with my passion for nutrition, I can relate to you at a time in your life when you feel like you have tried everything and you are still not reaching your goals. I have been there, done that in my own health journey, and I have had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not so much about the destination and more about the steps along the way. Because of the many trials and errors I have had to face myself, I feel much more qualified to lead you in the right direction on your own journey to optimal wellness. I have always been somewhat into nutrition and leading a healthy lifestyle, but I haven’t always known the information that I know now. So, I believe that education is the most important tool when it comes to finding your own health, because once make some foundational changes and learn how they brought you closer to your goals, you are much more likely to follow through with them in the long run. Only you can know what your body needs. That is why when you work with me, you will learn to grow on the changes we make together and become more confident in being an advocate for your own health even after we stop working together in the future.
